Associations, organizations and ashrams of Haveri district in the freedom struggle

Abstract: Although the goal of the activists in the Indian freedom struggle was Indian independence, before achieving independence, the leaders of the movement and the activists unfailingly followed Gandhiji's statements that we deserve to gain independence by achieving casteism, untouchability, awareness of education, elimination of superstitions, etc. in our society. This article explains how the leaders of the movement and the activists applied it to undivided Dharwad and present Haveri district. And for that, the article is about the activities done by the activists through Sangh, Sanghatana and Ashrams. The purpose of this article is to explain the role played by Sangh, Sanghatana and Ashrams in the Indian Freedom Struggle.
