Abstract: To evaluate the political conditions of women’s in modern age, various aspects related to women’s have to be observed which include the daily life of women and their political life, their main barriers in political life, their opinion about politics and many more aspects have to be evaluated. Women’s participation in Indian politics has been signified progress, particularly at the local level in which 73

th Constitutional Amendments (1992) mandated 33% reservations for women in Panchayati Raj Institutions and urban local bodies. This policy is made for empowering the women to participate in political activities, with the help of this Amendment, women’s can contribute in policy makings, community development, they can represent the government and many more powers they can grab with this law. This study examines the impact of women’s participation in local and state governance, analyzing their contribution in decision-making, policy outcomes. It explores challenges such as patriarchal norms, financial issues, gender-based violence, family disagreements, safety related problems or many other things which stops the women to actively participate in politics. Additionally, paper highlights the successful women leaders in India who have influenced policy changes like education, health and social welfares. Enhancing women’s participation in politics will improve motivate the decision makers in shaping India’s democratic future and democratic government.
The role of women has evolved over time, yet gender disparities persist in many parts of the world. Women’s facing unequal access to continue their political career. This paper explores the historical progression, current representation and impact of women in politics. In this journal, author want to discuss that how the Indian government and other Indians can promote women’s to get evolved and finding the actual barriers which they are facing in their personal life.
